Submitted by Helen Bowker on 16 July 2007 - 4:15pm.

By Captain, Sally FraserTour 1 what to say!? Looking back I think Tour 1 was pretty amazing. I have never been at a tournament where 4 of the 5 games have gone to the wire! Three sudden death games, one 11-13! That's incredible and really exciting! On Saturday our first game was against Swift our cutting was all over the place but to our credit we stuck in and ground out the win in sudden death.

Thirty-three teams made the journey to the south of Wales for the event, and were able to enjoy yet another sunny weekend as the abnormal early-Spring conditions continued. If only the weather stays this good for the rest of the year…
